Alvaro Siviero has been in love with the piano since his childhood. Musician who actively participates in the Brazilian musical scenery as soloist and chamber musician, Siviero has been to Germany, Portugal, Italy, USA, Austria, France, England, Switzerland, Czech Republic, also performing as soloist in several tours throughout Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Chile, The Netherlands, Uruguay and Peru with a great number of orchestras such as the London Festival Orchestra, Budapest Chamber Orchestra, Russian Virtuosi of Europe, The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Rotterdam, Salzburg Chamber Soloists, Orquesta Académica de Madrid, I Musici of Montreal, among others, including many national orchestras such as Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira, Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de São Paulo, Orquestra Sinfônica de Brasília, Orquestra Sinfônica de Campinas, Orquestra Sinfônica de Goiânia, Orquestra Sinfônica de Sergipe e Orquestra Sinfônica do Paraná.
 
Siviero was the first ever Brazilian pianist worldwide selected to attend the Beethoven Master Classes at the Fondazione Wilhelm Kempff, Positano, Italy. His touching performance of Rachmaninov Third Piano Concerto was acclaimed by huge audiences and critics during national tour in the main concert halls in Brazil. In 2007, Siviero performed in an exclusive recital to the Pope Benedict XVI, during the visit of the Roman Pontiff to Brazil. In November, 2009, the pianist was the only artist invited to represent Brazil in the historic worlwide Meeting of Artists at the Sistine Chapel, in Rome. In 2011, was the artist responsible for the official recital that reopened the true place where Chopin lived in the Cartoixa de Valldemossa, Maiorca.
 
As musician and artistic director, Siviero was responsible for the coming to his country of many international symphonic groups as well as for promoting a considerable number of national symphony orchestras which toured with him throughout Brazil. In February 2016, in recognition of cultural services rendered, Siviero received the Commendation of the Order of Cultural Merit Carlos Gomes.
 
The pianist has a degree in Multicultural Education at the Lesley College, Cambridge, besides being graduated in Physics from Universidade de São Paulo. He writes about Classical Music in the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo.
