Roberta Di Mario is a contemporary Italian Steinway artist, composer and pianist.

Emotive, passionate and elegant, she was born in Parma, in 1972 and graduated from the Arrigo Boito Academy of Music with honor and honorable mention.

She has always lived for music and piano and started very early to play concerts and winning awards.

She loves to experiment and take risks with her piano, thus creating a unique music alchemy inspired from the world of theater, musicals, jazz, swing, pop, contemporary sounds, ambient and soundtracks.

She debuts in 2011 with her first album “Tra il tempo e la distanza” (Alfa Music), where songs and contemporary pianism harmonically coexist.

Out in 2014 her second album, “Lo stato delle cose” (Irma Records), a double project with Songs and Piano solo tracks. The preview at the Atina Jazz Festival Winter is welcomed with great success of audience and positive criticism.

In the same year she writes the soundtrack for the docufilm “Living the world of Botero”, in occasion of the Botero International Exhibitions in Italy and Japan.

She played opening concerts in Rome, Milan, Genova, Venezia, Napoli and Palermo for Dionne Warwick, Toquinho, Mario Venuti, Roby Facchinetti and Sagi Rei.

She was guests and acted live for several radios like Nick the Nightfly at his Montecarlo Nights program, Radio 24 and Repubblica TV.

She played the opening concert at the Indian exhibition for the Venice Biennale “India the revealed mysteries”.

She was selected as resident pianist in Feltrinelli store in Florence, then extended for “Lo stato delle cose” Tour around other Italian Feltrinelli stores.

She performed several concerts in New York and she was guest at the Italian Consulate in occasion of the event “Meet the new Italian music artists of New York”.

In March and September 2017, she has opened the concerts of "La vita che si ama Tour" by Roberto Vecchioni at the Obihall in Florence, at the Parco della Musica in Rome and at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, at the Todi.

In May 2017 she performed in Milan for Piano City Milano, in the splendid setting of "Bagni Misteriosi" and in June she opened the edition of Biografilm festival 2017.

In October 2017 is released by Warner Classic her new album called Illegacy.

The video of Duende filmed in Paris under the direction of Matteo Foresti, precedes the release of the cd and is the first of a series of eight videos joined by a logical thread.

In April 2018 she wrote the Radici Theme soundtrack for the Radici cultural operation. A multimedia platform born from the idea of the journalist and writer Cristina Giudici, who wants to deal with the powerful theme of Immigration without prejudice, with courage and truth.

In May 2018 she came back to play for Piano City 2018 as official pianist for Radio Monte Carlo.
