Fabio Turchetti is a singer, an accordionist and a musical video blogger from Cremona, Italy.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in composition at the Conservatorio “Luigi Cherubini” of Florence and one in musicology at Università of Bologna.
In his thirty-year career, he has played almost 1000 concerts, alone or with others, from the Manila Jazz Festival in the Philippines to New York City’s Accordions Festival at Bryant Park, and recorded about 40 cd.
Fabio has many projects and collaborations: among others Khaossia, an Italian band from Salento (6 cd recorded together from 2005), Michela Musolino, an American singer from New York ( Fabio and Michela recorded their first cd “ Terra sangue mare” in Prague in 2015 and it was listed by Pop Matters into the 12 best world music album of 2016) and Guo Gan, a Chinese ehru violin virtuoso Paris based (“The silk way” cd was recorded in Cremona in January 2020)
In 2019 he made a tv program produced by Cremona1 TV about his travels around the world.
Bandoneonist, accordionist, composer. After many music experiences, in 1988 he dedicated himself to tango e bandoneón. In the Rai show Tango, he accompaigns Milva and Julio Iglesias. With Giorgio Zagnoni and the Nuovo Quartetto Italiano he performs at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, for the concert of José Carreras. He made many concerts in Italy, Europe and the USA with the group Quejas de bandoneón.
